real karmayogi, Munshiji was a beacon for generations to come. Like most of his eminent contemporaries, he too studied law and made a mark in the court proceedings. Drawn to the freedom movement, he participated in many struggles and was a true Gandhian. His vision for India of tomorrow gave birth to an ideal institution Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan.

Kochi Kendra

The first Kendra in Kerala, Bhavan’s Kochi Kendra has upheld the ideals set by the founding fathers of the Nation. It has been in the forefront of multifarious activities of which education has been a vital part. The Kendra manages 7 schools in and around Kochi and 2 management institutes. Social activities has also been high on the Kendra list. Bhavan’s Mahila Vibhag has contributed since inception to the uplift and empowerment of the underpriviledged.
